45-minute art classes for outdoorsy kids
The Beach Studio is a fun pop-up outdoor art class developed specifically for creative outdoorsy kids. The 45-minute sessions adopt a step-by-step style approach to painting an original artist inspired masterpiece, which they can keep!

Whilst parents can sit back and relax, each child learns the steps to creating a copy of a famous artist’s work as well as learning a little about the artist.

About the teacher
My name is Julia Blanka and I developed The Beach Studio due to my love of art, the outdoors and the coast. I have previous experience working in children’s art programs at the Guggenheim Museum in New York as well as the Adelaide Festival and the running the Zhu-Lin Buddhist Temple kids’ art program.

I love working with children and exploring the boundless creativity and imaginations they have whilst teaching them some valuable technical skills. I believe children’s creativity should be nourished and encouraged. My mantra is that there is no right or wrong in art, just creativity that needs to be set free, explored and appreciated.

As a child I was a student of the Ruth Tuck Art School, later completing a Bachelor of Graphic Design from the University of South Australia and then updated my drawing skills at the New York Studio School. I have a current police check and a working with children certificate.
