SALA Festival

I’m so honoured to be part of the SALA Festival Pawsome Art Trail! My fibreglass dog bowls featuring pooping and farting sea creatures (because why not?!) are now on display amongst 98 other bowls that have been decorated by some big names like Emma Hack, Vans the Omega and Dana Kinter – just to name a few! Exhibition on until 31 August, 2018.
Painting at the Australian Refugee Association
Today my art program, The Beach Studio was in full swing at the Australian Refugee Association’s Girl Empowerment Camp. There we learnt about Mexican feminist artist, Frida Kahlo and studied the detail in her self portraits. We were inspired to paint ourselves as the empowered, strong woman Frida Kahlo represented – with a monobrow, of course! We learnt about face proportions, pattern making and what it meant to be a human being who represented confidence, resilience and strength. View the full gallery here.

Raising money for seriously ill kids

Proceeds from the auction will go to Little Heroes Foundation who are absolute legends in supporting seriously ill South Aussie kids and their families. More information here.

Happening now!
‘Owl u need is luv’ is a street art exhibition that features a collection of my whimsical black and white owl illustrations. The installation focuses on love, compassion and kindness through a series of playful owl and heart paste-ups. There is so much war and hatred in this world that we sometimes forget to love and open our hearts to the goodness of humanity. The illustrations will be on show from 1- 29 May to remind passers-by that owl you need is luv.
Share the love! Share your pictures on Facebook and Instagram with the ones you love with the hashtag #owluneedisluv
